Valentines Inquiry

1: Saint Valentine is a third-century Roman Saint, he was also a priest.

2: He is celebrated on the 14th of February, Valentines Day.

3: The crazy thing is, the first Valentine's Day was in the year 496.
Which means this tradition is very old, 1523 years old to be exact.

4: Valentine's day is also the start of Spring for the Romans.

5: Saint Valentine was beheaded and then most of his body was buried at
Whitefriar Street Church in Dublin, Ireland.

6: Parts of his body is kept in different places all around the world.
His skull is safely kept in Rome, Italy.


7: Saint Valentine was beaten, and tortured - he was also arrested and sent to jail.
